One Time Virtual Consultation with the Melillo Center for Developing Minds

A Virtual consultation can be performed with our team at the Melillo Center for adults or children from anywhere in the world. The virtual calls will be with one of our 3 top qualified professionals: Dr Jesse Bumbarger, Dr. Ty Melillo or Bridget Kavanagh, OTR, FIBFN-CND.

They have all worked with us for years and will absolutely be a great option for families.

First, we start with you completing some paperwork on line so that we can create a file. The Melillo team will usually review that file a few times before the call and we also welcome you to send over any other tests, reports or anything that you have if you would like them to review it before your call to prepare.

The call is scheduled for 1 hour usually on Zoom. We do record the call and will provide you with a copy of the recording so that you can review it at a later time if you wish and it will become part of your patient file for our records.

During the call, they will go over the paperwork with you and ask you a lot of questions during the call. They will then talk about the recommendations for the case... this can be a variety of therapy and treatment options but it is really customized to just your case.

This is an excellent option for families to get an opinion or ask specific questions that you may have. Common questions will be:

What changes can I expect to see if I choose the virtual program?

What changes can I expect to see if I come for an intensive program?

What is the difference between a 1 week and 2 week program? Or longer?

What types of therapies and treatments will you be doing with my child?

What types of testing will be done specifically with my child?
